Maggie's Place

21 East 47th St. New York, NY. This is a staple in midtown Manhattan. Close to transportation and attractions.  Looks like a traditional Irish pub on the outside.  Inside, there is a formal dining room upstairs.  At the bar, there is also an appetizer menu.  The food is excellent and they have a good selection of beer on tap.

 
The Long Room bar

120 West 44th St. New York, NY. A great after work place for business professionals.  It is sophisticated with a cozy feel.  The walls and ceiling give the appearance of an “old world” library.  They have a good menu and a good variety of beer.

 
Stout NY Bar and Restaurant

133 West 33rd St. New York, NY. This is an enormous bar and restaurant with 2 levels near Penn Station. The stonework is magnificent.  They have a good size menu and the food is great.  They have a very large selection of beer on tap and in bottles.  They also have rooms to rent for private parties.

 
The Overlook Restaurant and bar

225 East 44th St. New York, NY. A great place that is just a few blocks from Grand Central Station.  This is a multiple level restaurant and bar.  One of its best features is the rooftop deck.  This gives patrons the option to sit outside.  This is a great place to meet friends from out of town.  The food is tasty and the beer is cold.

 
Wheeltapper Pub at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central

41 East 44th St. New York, NY. This bar is set inside the Fitzpatrick Hotel which is one block from Grand Central Station.  The bar has the feel of a pub along Ireland’s countryside.  It is warm and welcoming. The menu is similar to that of an Irish pub. The Irish Breakfast is delicious and the Guinness is smooth. The hotel is also a great place to spend the night.
